Following the injections, there will be some swelling for 24 hours. Most patients look "presentable" within two days.
Your body reacts to collagen as a foreign substance and within three to six months it will eventually aborb it. Repeated injections of collagen may be necessary for you to maintain correction of wrinkles and scars.
