Dr. Stevens developed and continues to provide a program for removal of gang tattoo markings from reformed ex-gang members living throughout California. This program is offered at no charge to the patients and their communities.
He has been recognized with numerous community awards for his involvement in California cities as well as for public service at both the national and international levels in plastic surgery.
