Keeping at the forefront of technological advances, Dr. Stevens is involved in numerous professional organizations. In addition to being Board Certified in Plastic Surgery, he is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society of North America, as well as an associate member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Stevens was invited by Obagi Medical Products, Inc. to join their medical advisory council, a panel of twelve physicians who are recognized as experts in their field. Obagi Medical Products, Inc. is a manufacturer of pharmaceutical products for skin health restoration and rejuvenation.
The author of multiple scientific papers, journal articles as well as book chapters on plastic surgery, Dr. Stevens' research has been published in leading medical publications. His work has also been widely written about in consumer magazines in the U.S. and abroad.
